His Lordship's Kindness Membership Information
The John M. and Sara R. Walton Foundation, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) corporation. The Foundation is dedicated to preserving and interpreting Poplar Hill / His Lordship's Kindness, a National Historic Landmark. It is our mission to:
- maintain the buildings, grounds and collections
- publicly promote the unique architectural character of the home and the histories of the families who have lived there
- sponsor research to broaden public understanding of the role this plantation and its inhabitants played in national and regional history
Annual membership benefits (worth $25) include:
- Free admission for the member to the Plantation house and grounds (Special events excluded)
- Twice yearly newsletter
- 10% discount on museum shop items excluding books, consignment items and sale items
- Free admission to an annual members' appreciation event
